Sweetgirl’s List of Inspirational Bloggers 2019

Since I started blogging just over 2 years ago, I have encountered a number of truly inspirational bloggers. This is my attempt to give something back to the blogging community I am privileged, and proud, to be a part of.  I am going to list them alphabetically because everyone on this list is No.1. to me.

Inspirational Bloggers, who go above and beyond!

This first list is those Inspirational Bloggers who never fail to encourage others. They have offered me advice, encouragement and they are all fabulous writers too!  Whether it is fiction or factual every single one of these bloggers consistently creates brilliant posts.  These ladies also give up their time running writing memes, providing a prompt and a way to reach a huge audience. They support the Sex Blogging community in so many ways that I want to highlight them first.

Brigit Delaney

I can’t remember when I first came across Brigit, but it wasn’t long before I realised what an amazing writer she is.  I always enjoy reading her posts.  She is a blogger who’s life experiences resonate with me.  She writes about her real life and how it is affected by mental health and aging. On top of managing her site and creating great content Brigit manage the monthly prompt The Erotic Journal Challenge and she is a judge for the Smut Marathon.  I don’t know if she is going to Eroticon in 2020, but if she is I will be so excited and delighted to meet her!

Marie Rebelle

Marie is an amazing blogger, who also takes a great deal of her own time to help other bloggers find their voices.  She hosts a number of memes Wicked Wednesday, Menopause Diaries, Oral Sex Project that I have taken part in, and the year long competition called the Smut Marathon which I have signed up to take part in next year.  Marie writes fiction and true life posts, she is speaking at Eroticon next year and I am really looking forward to hearing what she has to say.   I have this idea that she will be as funny in person as she can be on her blog.

May More

May gives you more, that’s her tagline, on Twitter, and does she ever!  She is another of the bloggers who are there, always offering encouragement and support.  May has a new project too ‘Radio More’ where she narrates her work for us to listen to, and it is fantastic!  She co-manages the writing meme Food for Thought  and earlier this year she gave me some practical advice for improving my sites useability, which I was happy to take! One day I look forward to meeting her in person.

Sassy Cat

Sassy is just that, one sassy cat, and so is her writing.  I enjoy her posts a lot and I can honestly say that when I see a new post in my feed from her I can’t wait to read it.   She also started the most amazing prompt Sex Bloggers for Mental Health where the fabulous community of Sex Bloggers can write about the challenges of Mental Health Issues.  As I live with depression and anxiety and my two children fight their own battles with the darkness I try to participate in this project as often as possible.

Submissy

What can I say about SubMissy?  Well, she is my absolute favourite person.  Having met her and HisLordship in real life, I have to admit to having a little crush on her, I have never met someone so genuinely nice, kind and friggin’ awesome!  Their site The SafeworD/s Club is a fantastic place, and they take the time to be there twice a week and host chats.  As well as working full time, maintaining the site, hosting chats she still manages to produce content posts that are filled with life, love, laughter and passion.  As if this wasn’t enough they also decided to run a D/s writing prompt called Tell Me About.  A few months ago I offered to assist with the administration of this, by promoting it on Twitter.

Inspirational Bloggers – I Love to Read

There are some bloggers whose posts I always enjoy reading, and who I wholeheartedly recommend following.  They are inspirational bloggers in their own way too, and  I have again listed them alphabetically.

Collared Michael

Michael lives in a Female Led relationship, and is the only male submissive on my list, although definitely not the only one in existence!  His Queen keeps him in chastity, and he wears a cage every day.  He writes about his adventures pleasing his Queen as well as some amazing fantasy pieces featuring myself and some of the other bloggers listed here.  I look forward to his posts and have to admit I am fascinated by the F/m dynamic, although I know it is something I don’t want to try, even if Mr H had a submissive bone in his body (which he doesn’t)!

Deviant Succubus

Deviant is such a vivacious and lively blogger.  You can feel her personality in every post.  I have been privileged to interact with her during the bi-weekly chats on the SafeworD/s Club and she is as bubbly during these chats as she appears on her blog.

Eve Adler

Eve is a disabled sex blogger, and I found her first on Twitter.  Her disabilities are much more severe than mine but I take inspiration in how much she achieves to spur me on.  She describes herself as a professional (disabled) internet human, and what I love is that while she acknowledges her disability, by putting it in brackets I feel she is symbolising that this should not be the defining characteristic of her blog or life.  Eve is another blogger who I imagine I would get on well with and would be able to have a great conversation with.

Francesca Demont

Francesca is another blog that I have only recently found, but I am enjoying immensely.  She has recently announced that she is expecting a baby, and I am looking forward to hearing her future adventures.  I wish so many absolutely wonderful things for her.

Gristle1953 AKA Naomi and Rex

Naomi and Rex are so wonderful! I have only recently found their blog but everything I have read has been wonderful.  They write with such gentility and grace.  They are beautiful people.

J Lynn

Rantings of a nonsensical mind is the title of her blog, but her work is anything but nonsensical. Her About Me page is brilliant and I adore her logo, but then I am a cat lover.  She is another blogger whom I imagine I would get on well with in real life – I think we would have a great time, talking and laughing.  The way she writes makes me feel like I am having a conversation with a friend.

Liz Black

Liz is an erotic fiction writer, and blogger.  I came across her one time when she took part in one of the writing prompts – I forget which one.  But, I had to follow her, so I didn’t miss another one.  It is a dream of mine, an ambition I guess, that one day I will be a published author, just like her.

Melody Insights

Melody writes about the challenges of living a transgendered life.  Her writing is both thoughtful and thought provoking.  She also has a fabulous collection of shoes and gorgeous legs that I am extremely jealous of!  I find her to be an inspirational blogger because she fights every day to be true to herself.

Mrs Fever

Fevers writing quite often lives up to her blogs name – as she certainly makes my temperature rise lol.  The moment I read her sticky post, which made me laugh out loud, I had to follow her blog.  I often find myself laughing or nodding as I read.  I don’t know if I will ever meet her in real life, but I can imagine having a fantastic chat filled with giggles.

PurpleSole and LittleGem

Purple and Gem write in a very unique way, many of their posts are written from two points of view.  They explore a lot of different play types, as Gem has a few different persona’s; She identifies as a little, as well as a puppy sometimes too.  In the relatively short time since they appeared in the blogosphere they have built a huge following.  I wish them so much luck as they continue their journey.  I look forward to meeting them in person one day too!

Swirling Fire

Swirlie is hosted by Melody.  She hasn’t been blogging long but everything she writes is thoughtfully composed.  I have enjoyed reading her work and I hope she continues to post next year.

Blogging Community

I feel privileged to be apart of such a warm and encouraging community.  There are some fun things and some challenges ahead of me in 2020. MrH is going to be having an operation in January, I have a pain relieving procedure scheduled in January too. There is a possibility that I will also have some surgery on my spine at some point.  Whatever happens in 2020 I know that I will continue to find support and encouragement from these inspirational bloggers; and I will be able to sit and read some exquisite posts from bloggers who feel like friends.
